I have a ´07 C2 Cab on order, expected delivery september ´06.

I have ordered aftermarket H&R 7/14 spacers for the front and 14/28 for the rears. Will arrive by post this week and wait for mounting as the first thing after picking up the car.

Standard 18" Carrera III Rims.

Any pic´s of 18" with spacer´s ??????

BTW Rzundel, thanks for the PM -- I went the secure way and ended up ordering Black A1 / Black Hood / Sandbeige Leather -- Cocoa hood had to wait untill another time !!!!!!

I just put spacers in the rear.

BTW, I have decided that I am going to replace the 17mm spacers for 5mm. The new Turbo come with no spacer and it has the same specs as my C4s in the rear. 5mm should put me exactly where I want to be. Just a little more aggressive than the stock turbo but not as much as where the 17mm puts me. I'll keep you posted.

I like the look of the turbo wheels on the C4S and have the same dilemma. After a lot of measuring and studying, I think the best compromise would be the H & R 7mm spacers front and rear. The spacers weigh next to nothing, so I think the unsprung weight concerns are bogus. Porsche offers a 5mm spacer option and always tends to be conservative, so 7mm should be safe and just a tad wider.

Don't forget to use longer lug bolts - can't remember if the H&R spacers come with the longer ones.

I did end up with the H&R 7mm spacers in the rear. Look great. I didn't think the front needed spacers. They look great to me.

Just to reemphasize,...I think you are doing the right thing with the 5mm spacer set. It is a subtle difference with stock offset rims but I do think it makes the rears 'fit' a little bit better. You could probably get away with 6 or 7 mm but personally I went with the Porsche 5mm set - complete with longer bolts (including locks) for $292 from Sunset.

Don't know the specs on the Turbo wheels but I have a lot of faith in the advice that Wheel Enhancment provides.
I believe this is correct. So, having 17mm spacers can't be that bad as long as you have faith that Porsche know what they are doing.

I think 5 mm in the front and 7 mm in the rear would be ideal but I agree the front is OK just as it is. It's those voluptuous rear flares that need some extra width.

17mm works with the rear wheels having 67mm offset - I wouldn't use that size spacer with wheels with a 51mm offset.

Good point, I forgot we were dealing with different offsets.
