The instructor drives for the hot laps. On the second day, after thinking “Wow, I have really learned some stuff and I am going faster,” the hot lap shows how much more there is in the cars that we have not tapped and how much remains to be learned.

I have not done the one day course, but the two day is twice as long so it therefore must be twice as good. The days broke down into about ½ on the track and ½ on the skid pad / car control / autocross. On the second day there also was a session off road with the Cayenne.

Mjones is right. You cannot go to PDE often enough.
