It had a little over 3000 miles when the pic was taken.
But I have to admit I may have gone over 4000 RPM a
couple of times in the 1st 2000 miles.

Regarding that pic - why is the red ! light on and also why is the oil pressure not maxed at 6000 RPM?

The red light was something minor front modulator if my memory serves me
correctly. The day it came on Idroped by the dealer the tech checked the fault
codes and said it was safe to drive until the ordered part came in.
As far as the oil pressure the engine was run fairly hard for about
an hour and the level was fine. Since new the oil pressure only maxes when
the engine is cold.

We'll all assume it was on a track of some sort, certainly not on U.S. highways.

Default yea I was gonna say the same thing...

6000 RPMs in first gear only going 15 MPH? OK I'll assume with the clutch in and your coasting at 15, in gear but your car hasnt been broken in yet. That is irresponsible to rev that high.

Give it a few months first.

That's 150 not 15.
