Guys,

Learned something new today.

- Took car for a quick trip to gas station. Radio worked fine

- Turned car back on and PCM was on but absolutely no sound - radio or CD

- Tried turning radio on and off, turning car on and off - nothing

- Drove to dealer, tech turned car off, got out, locked doors, unlocked, started engine - all good again

- Apparently, locking and unlocking the car electronically resets PCM (per the service tech)

Hope that helps somebody sometime.

I'll bet the lock-unlock sequence locks more than the doors, eh? Looks like it locks PCM, too...

another thing: I believe the CD would keep playing when you turn the radio/CD off (blank screen). It was track 1 when I turned it off and track 3 when I turned it back on

Same thing happened to me once. Not sure how but it started up again with the radio blaring. Now I know the probable solution. Gracie.
