Looking so forward to it. The dealer is even going to let me borrow a loaner car while I am in OH for the 2 days.

Ben,

I've been so busy with that work I didn't even know you were persona non grata. Glad you're still here. I didn't know the soup **** was running this place.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your welcoming me back.

Chris, you rabble-rouser! Et tu? I had no idea! LOL
Kinda reminds me of the one time - and only time - I was kicked out of a bar along with my buddy Andy. This rather large guy had tried to reclaim a small round bar table that he had vacated at this crowded bar. When he came back after 5 mins or so and tried to intimidate us into giving it up, I flat out refused, asking him if he had asked anyone to save it for him, or if he had left any personal belongings there to secure it for him like his purse or something. That's when he reached and grabbed me by the collar and my buddy swiftly jumped on his back, but luckily for us two bouncers had been eyeing the situation and immediately tossed us all out. ... What blew me away was when I learned that my buddy Andy had had a beer bottle in his hand and was about to bust it over this guy's head! Daaaayyyyyammmm! ... I couldn't stop laughing over the fact that he was actually proud of having been kicked out of a bar!

Paul, thanks for that excellent quote. I'll have to remember that one. Yes indeed, the missus keeps me on my toes - she's a sharp cookie - and forces me to stay sharp if I'm to get out of the jams I get into. Reminds me of that beer commercial where they show this ref standing calm as can be as he's being yelled at his face by the coaches, then they cut to his living room where he's sitting calmly while his wife yells away at his face nonstop - obviously his training ground. ... Still trying to get me into politics, I see. I can't now, the dirt diggers will surely discover that I was banned at one time on Rennlist.

Sheeesh, I didn't realize DM was that unpopular. Maybe I'll borrow that chimp avatar from Jeff - it's worth a few laughs at least.

Dave, thanks a lot buddy. I'm taking you with me next time I go bar hopping!

Welcome back, dude. Look, forums (or, for english majors, FORA) can become a bit dull without some color, drama, what have you, and hey, it's only words, right? So, good luck with your new project and move, and jump right in on some of the controversial new threads. Best Regards.

While you were out in the black hole of Rennlisters my car went into production, got painted, got a VIN, and got Checkpoint 8ed! A fine time you pick to get banished. Welcome back.

Damn you! I detailed my car last weekend and needed serious help removing the stubborn Klasse HGSG amongst other detailing nuissances. Then i remembered to use search tool as you have suggested many times. Somehow I found an old response of yours regarding this issue. In the end your old post helped me solve the problem and save tons of time in the process. You weren't even here an you were helping me!

Welcome Back Kotter! (In fact here's a link to a temporary avatar for you (Gabe Kaplan) http://www.nerfect.com/kaplanbday/gabeparty.jpg
