Default option 666 question
Hi Folks,

Is there a way to toggle the car phone on and off and KEEP the radio off?

I find it annoying to be switching between calls and having the radio keep coming on.

HELP

The Radio shuts off when your call comes in, automatically

Your radio doesn't have a power button? I thought PCM/phone could be operated with the radio off.

on the main menu you can adjust what you would like to do. if you want to be off set it for off. you can set for forwarding or ignore or whatever

If the radio is off and you get a call the phone still works - at least that is how it is on my 997...

Correct, but then after your call ends, the radio is on and I dont want that

How about just turning the volume down to zero?

I think you can select 'mute' from the audio menu and the radio will remain muted for the journey but you can still use the phone. It's a pity but the 'mute' status doesn't store when you shut down.

It doesnt work - the audio volume is adjusted for both the car phone and stereo in sync..
