I think the red shifter boot would be too much. Think about the floor mats, that will take the red color low in the car which will visually tie it together. The door handles and shifter is not the right place for the additional red (my 2 cents)

The door handle surrounds appeal to me becasue the seats are so dominating. Thats the only place on the door that doesnt interfere with the red of the seating, its up high enough and out of the way.
The shift boot is the only place up front i can think of to add red at all other than my sun visors.

I like TH's gear trim in red idea.
I'm not much of a Mercedes person, but the other day I saw a 2007 SL55 at a dealer with this combo in Cognac/Black and it was stunning....the door trim piece separating the two leather colors was painted gloss black-- worked extremely well......unfortunately on your 997S cab it would be a major expense to replace door/dash leather with red as pic'd here, but damn this looks good imho:

What do you have against Ben? He's a great guy and one of the more appreciated regulars around here.

OCben was out of line far too much.
You saw how he pounced on me hard and heavy.
It was almost like a woman getting jealous when her man got some attention....
Everytime a few of us would show interest in one of my posts he would sabbatoge it...
you and Rome may have had a fixable skirmish or two but BEN was lierally dogmatic to this board...
you dont agree?

I'm also not sure why you guys would think any moderator action was taken against Ben. If I'm not mistaken Ben is in the midst of closing a real estate deal - that's it, plain and simple.
You guys are going to find yourself in a gross minority of people here if you continue to slam Ben. I think making peace would be a better option.
This is all I have to say.
BTW, I think the red seats look nice. I would add a little red trim on the doors.

I have never seen Ben attack you as he has so many others and for that I can see how you could side with Ben without reservation.
The difference is that we all have been on the other end on a personal basis.
As long as he agrees with you then he's great, the problem comes when he decides to tuirn on you.

i do know he is not under a ban of any type.
