the chrome Lobsters on black is absolutely stunning. Youd truly have to see it. It's easy for guys to say they hate chrome and they hate this and they hate that but man the difference in wow factor can't be ignored. That drab alloy finish on a lobster looks good on certain cars (grays and silvers) but I tell you on a very dark car the contrast is awesome.
At the Bay Area meet, I'll let the guys see it in person, then they can see what I mean.
it was literally night and day in terms of looks. I'd almost have to say chrome would probably work on any car but perhaps gray. Maybe even gray, damn.
LA wheel has an exchange program, I think a bit over $600 trade in so you dont have to be without your car.
For under a grand you'll get more satisfaction for your upgrade than 110's or techarts, IMHO.
Personally I LOVE LOBSTERS, I think They say 997 and are waht should be on this car just as the Twist said turbo back in the 993 day, the cup on the C2 and the daisy said 911 in years back.
Some wheels are just meant to be.
Dont forget BMW uses chrome on their upgraded M3 wheel as well as Ferrari, Lambo, Mercedes factory finishes. Don't think for a moment that chrome is ghetto and bling bling only. For anyone to hold prejudice against chrome for what it represents in a different world is doing themselves an injustice.
