Which door panel do you guys like the best

#1 is more subtle, but I don't like how the red is screaming for attention, yet is stuffed behind trying to get out. If you want to accomplish some bold stylistic thing, then I'd vote for #2, but continue the carpet around the bottom to make a VERY BOLD swoosh/color statement. I think either is pretty bold and would need some significant amount of red elsewhere in the interior to work.
You could consider doing the same thing swapping red for a ligher gray/silver something like this pitiful excuse of a picture I whipped out. Imagine it all dark gray/black or whatever with the silver closer to your silver/gray in #1 or #2. Still pretty stylistic/bold IMHO.

were getting away from the point which is....
since my seats will be red leather, I need to tie in my door panels. I'm not doing this to add more color or splash to the already busy interior, I'm doing this to help allow the red seats to tie in.

I would go for #2 with the carpet in red. I think the different/opposing lines will work better and bring the red more forward as well. I think #1 will appear more like 4 large red blobs. With the seats like an L, I think the doors like a backwards C (or sideways U) will go together better with some black in between. Good thing you don't have PCCBs. The bits of red do tie together. My 1 cent.
