Thanks guys... I emailed the dealer with some questions concerning this and he never replied back. Quite a contrast to his quick responses earlier with all the other details and the price negotiation. Okay, back to sticking with Porsche dealerships -- I just wish that I can purchase a new one, but PCNA doesn't allow US dealers to sell new ones to Canadians, and the Canadian ones and all options are marked up way, way too much compared to their US counterparts.
Interested in purchasing this car, but the rear logo looks suspicious to me. Does it seem like its off? Would this be a sign that some body work has been done to the rear engine compartment/lid? Maybe I'm just being paranoid about this purchase.
Not everything that comes from the factory is perfectly aligned. If records show no body work was done then that's probably how it came from the factory. We've seen worse screwups than that coming from the factory. I wouldn't pass on the car just for that.

Those exhaust tips can be adjusted fore and aft, up and down. Probably some shoddy work by a tech doing the recall on the tips.
If you really want the car I wouldn't pass on it just for that. I'd ask them to align the tips for you before taking delivery. And if the misaligned S bothers you, have them redo it before you buy. Or if you prefer the clean look, have them do a "Model Designation Delete" for you free of charge.
And if you really do want it, tell them to sweeten the deal by giving you an additional discount.
The car may otherwise be perfect except for these minor cosmetic misalignments, which with little effort can be made perfect, just like the rest of the car.
Agreed. There are lots of examples out there without "issues."
I also find it a little ironic that the guy who goes nuts about swirl marks poor misspelled words on this board would encourage you to consider a car with such obvious cosmetic defects.

Why the personal attack?
My delivered car came with the exhaust tips misaligned and a horrible misalignment on the sunroof, which many here will recall. The car was perfect otherwise, until it subsequently suffered front end damage which left the hood slightly misaligned to this day.
Not everything is perfect from the factory. I'm not "encouraging" him to consider the car, as you've clearly misunderstood my point. I'm just saying not to dismiss it, or rule it out, just because of minor cosmetic misalignments which my own car came with from the factory.
