Speaker Upgrade
I went to a local car toy store today to get info about a remote/hardwired radar. The guy tried to sell me aftermarket speakers that will work with the MOST bus and with the Bose DSP. The speakers he was pushing were made by Morel. Has anyone else upgraded their speakers?

I don't know for sure if this is correct, but my local car stereo installer told me that the PCM has crossovers built into it that limit the frequencies that get to each speaker. He said changing speakers would not make much difference, and that there was very little you could do to improve upon the sound in a 997 short of ripping everything out and pouring thousands of dollars into the car. This is a guy who would profit (albeit only once) from telling me otherwise. I'm inclined to believe him.
