Hey PeakOil congrats on the order. Can I make one suggestion, put the 5mm spacers on. You will be pleased with the way it looks with the spacers than without if you are sticking with the stock wheels.

Thanks for all the good wishes. What is the deal with the spacers? 5mm doesnt seem that much? Do the classic wheels look better with spacers? Maybe I should go with the lobsters......so many questions....

I like classics better than lobster forks. If you can see a difference with the spacers, go for it. Remember, you can always add spacers after you get the car. It looks easy to do. I think Coochas had a pictorial on this not too long ago.

Coochas did indeed have a pictoral on this very thing not long ago. I would highly suggest the spacers. It isn't expensive, and really fills out the wheel wells in my opinion.

Peak -

Great choice... not sure if this is your first P-car, but I can tell you that I'm totally glad that I went with the C4S; it makes even a novice driver (me!) look like a genius.

The first time you get some yaw going, and you feel the power transfer to the front wheels, you'll be glad you made the AWD choice. I also think that the extra weight up front helps with the steering feel under hard acceleration. I have heard some 996 4S owners complain about numb steering; it's certainly not the case (IMHO) in the 997. I love this car like a family member! ;-)

Glad to have another wide-butt joining the board. I think that we might force Ben over the edge if we get a couple more C4s owners to post low-angle 3/4 rear shots. <hehehe>
