$250 with or without the electronics?

ohsixx, did you get PSE also? The lowest quote I got was $800, the highest was $1600. They said if you want to get it right, we need to go to the dealer, and then he said they need to remove the rear bumper. I told them you don't need to remove the rear bumper... what a bunch of BS! Yes, we have a Porsche, but it doesn't mean they can ripe us of also.

Now, I thinking just install the vacuum tubes only, and no electronics.

Default Don;t bother with electronics or vaccuum lines

I had my pse hooked up with no electronics but with vaccuum lines. I have essentially disconnected the vaccuum lines (with 1/4" plastic on/off valve) and I am running loud all the time. I will never put in quiet mode again.

Save your money, just have the mufflers installed with no electronics and no vacuum lines.

I am having mine done at the dealer.. ABout $1,500 to install with the button added. I guess if you want to keep it on all the time.. it would be cheaper... I have a cab and I don't know how loud it will be so the ability to turn it off in those rare instances when i need/want quiet is worth it for me.

I double checked my receipt after reading the other quotes here...it was 280 for the install. Took them quite a while also. I am really not sure why it was so cheap.

After driving the car for almost two months, I have decided against the PSE. I am just going to buy a nice set of exhaust tips.

Thumbs up

I just installed the PSE. LOVE the sound. Not over the top (read cheesy or boy-racer) just classic 911 sound. I agree the car should have come from the factory this way.
