When I brought it to my warehouse and put it up on my lift it confirmed to me that my car had never seen a race track. Like I said most don't.
Of course most don't...never said that all were...never implied anything of the sort. Nor was I implying that one shouldn't buy a car that had been on the track. My comment was in response to 'robbonds' opinion that PCCBs with 5k miles on them were worth an additional $5k on the price of a used vehicle.

as another reference point, i have a black on black 2005 997S with 2000 miles, adaptive sports seats, bose, wheel crests, early warning lojack and clear-bra that i would probably sell for $72.5k although i'm not aggressively trying to sell it. so the question is are the nav, chrono and pccb's worth another $7k? to alot of drivers the answer will be yes. to others, perhaps not...

The PCCB's are kind of an expensive bling item, as I don't know anybody who drives their Porsche hard enough to fade the stock brakes. Personally, I wouldn't pay for them on a new car, and certainly wouldnt pay one dollar more on a used one.
Just think about a failure that the dealer may choose to dispute for "abuse". Right or wrong, you will be in for a fight and a $10,000 repair- for no added driving pleasure or value.
I agree with the assesment that they subtract value on a used car, because you wonder why thery were ordered, how they were used, and the cost of a repair. And for what? They dont stop faster or better. For a street car, they are **** on a bull. AS
