Default Rubber Nose Spoiler Keeps Coming OFF

Anyone else having this problem?
I do scrape just a little bit coming and going from my own driveway (of course!), but I'm very careful, always taking the diagonal track...however, the spoiler keeps getting popped out of its holes.
It's easy enough to tab it back in place, but I'm worried I'm gonna lose the damn thing. Is there a remedy I'm overlooking?

I also scrape coming into my driveway, but so far haven't had any problem with it coming off.

Is this piece that important? Lost mine awhile ago and not sure if I need to replace it.

I heard that rubber piece suppost to maintain the front end stability at high speed by keep the wind getting under the car. If I was you, I will replace it.

I would replace it, it is important to the aerodynamics. Perhaps replace it only when you fix the reason it scrapes on your driveway.

The only way to fix it is to move.

Why don't you re-do your drive way

Good idea, but then I'd have to lower the house about 10 feet so the hurricanes could get in.

I hear that you can recreate it in pink with a pack of "Bubble-Yum"

you must have a nice little bump at the head of your driveway?
i have a very steep drive but havent had any trouble popping the apron on the 997.
scraps a little if i dont angle it right but i dont pop any of the retainers out.
i did have that problem with the gt3 i had prior to this car.
if the retainers are the same on the 997 they should be relatively inexpensive and are easily replaced.
but i would do something about the head of the driveway.
probably wouldnt be that expensive to alter it enough for the 997 to clear.

Just re-pave the drive way. It won't cost you that much.

You can always put hydraulics on your car, so that you can raise the vehicle going over bumps. Also you will be real kewl at Sonic!

mine came loose on a road trip.3 of the "clips" came off and made a loud flapping noise so i took the the whole piece off (about ten clips in total).that made the sound and vibration worse.you feel it right thru the firewall area. i brought the car in and had them put a bead of sealant or glue on the "wind deflector ".still i get a wind and vibration noise at higher speeds (above 80/85). i had a motorcycle following me and was afraid the part was giong to fall off and wipe him out. I have my dealer trying to figure it out but still no luck . it seems like there is something else that may be flapping around under there. not a good feeling . crg
