Why do you want to avoid taking it to the dealer? If is was NOT caused by hitting a curb or other object, it will be covered under warranty. Take it to the dealer and they should rectify the problem.

I agree. Who would want anything to do with a dealer. Never been to one I thought was honest or truly helpfull. They only have than own interests at heart. I can't wait for my warranty to be over so I can go elsewhere.

I also have chips and scratches in front wheel , but they are from driving. Do they just have to be re-painted?

I agree.

Best case scenario is you take to the dealer they fix it you save$$$. Maybe you spend more time than you would like with the process, but these wheels aren't cheap.

Worst case scenario they won't fix it. You then go to the wheel repair of your choice... but it won't be free.

Why do you not want to go to the dealer? That should be a covered repair.

Your dealer will almost surely outsource the wheel repair to a good local wheel guy or paint shop. No reason IMO not to go there and have a latte and pick up your loaner car.
