Crossed 2000 miles and now time for the body shop... (Updated with pics)

A loooong time ago, my mom was following my dad through a subdivision under construction (they were both in real estate). She was looking at some empty lots and didn't see he had stopped. She proceeded to drive her cadillac under the back end of his 4x4 chevy.
You know our insurance agent hated to get that call.

I value my friends too , but just don't want the trouble that will come if there is an accident. Also, most of my friends are women in their 30's (as am I) and could care less about driving my car. It's my husband's friends that I have to watch out for.

I think before I let anyone drive my P-car I'd mention and even show them that the front "bumper" extends A LOT further than you'd think sitting behind the wheel. I'd probably have to also mention about 8,000 other things like make sure the oil temp is around 200 before you even think about getting on it. I guess I like my friends to enjoy my P-car too but I'd rather look to my right and see them smiling sitting in the passenger seat. Not meant as a criticism at all ronmart.

anyways ron, sorry to hear that, but it happens. Could be much worse, my friend had a toyota corolla, did the same thing, put a gouge through the front bumper, beat up the grill and broke it apart, cracked the headlight, and scratched/dented up the hood significantly
