Default M1 0w40 Used Oil test/Long Drain Interval

I am posting this FYI...i realize it is not a P car but it does give an indication of the durability of our factory fill recommendation. Porsche engines are noted to be relatively "easy" on oil FWIW.

Awesome, thanks Bgiere. I'm feeling better now re:the long drain interval - that being said, I'll likely still drop the oil at around 5k.

Better yet, I might get an analysis. Yeah, that's the ticket...

I guess we're stuck in the "old" way of thinking - 3k oil and filter changes with Dino oil. I just need to realign my brain, again. This car is so spectacular, I feel like I'm dissing it by not changing the oil...
