Cool Check out this license plate...

I finally got my personalized plates this week (mounted to the rear only ).

Unfortunately the peronalized plates are computer printed instead of being embossed, so I don't think they look as good as the old kind. However, they clean much easier and should last a while. I also have an extra to put on the rear when this one starts getting worn out.

My 2nd choice was C4S CAB, but I decided to go with 997 C4S instead.

Wasn't the emblem on thre trunk enough to remind you what you drive? Hope you don't forget it's a cab.

Sorry to say it but that is the most unoriginal vanity plate. Have to agree with 1999 on this one. Did you not see the big silver emblem on the back of your car??? Oh well. To each his own, right?

Ronmart,

Jumping in here... remember, opinions are like ********, everyone has one.

I like... you can't have enough "labelage" to remind you and others about this great brand and model.

I like it Ron.
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a vanity plate myself, PURRSH, since I am a cat trapped in a man's body. Unfortunately MA only has 6 characters so I can't get COOCHAS
I would love to get *** MAN a la Kramer on Seinfeld.

I wonder why Porsche went away from the cutout S with the '4' embedded in it. The C4S logo today appears to be a simple add-on, whereas on the 996, it was 'coupled'....if you know what I mean.

Here's my beast, with logo:

Dave, why don't you get it with just the "A" missing"? That would fit and sound the same. And if all else fails get NAMSSA. :roflamo:

Let us know how you decide. Both would be great choices.

Dave, as one who agonized over a vanity plate for his P-car before going with CANDIDE, is CATMAN or MANCAT or CAT-MAN or MAN-CAT acceptable & available? They work on several levels if you catch my drift.

When CANDIDE is up for renewal I think I'll change it to GRY-OWL; P-car is Seal Grey.
My other vehicle is WHT-SQRL which I think I'll change to WYT-SQRL (each standing for white squirrel).

Oops,...I forgot about my orginial name here, CoochasTT - this was the name I was using on Audiworld when I drove an Audi TT. With the "TT" having such a profoundly different meaning in rennspeak,...I had to go back to my roots.
And Yes Jeff, Coochas is all about me,....because after all, it's all about me man !!!
Coochas refers to the ancient language of cats which only cats, myself, and my wife are able to speak,...now I've already said way too much...and I don't want those weird men in their little white coats coming to my place again trying to sell me a jacket with extra extra extra extra long sleeves.

Hey while we're tangenting here, did anyone see the GT3 and Turbo articles in this month's Excellence? Good reads.
