I wish they had not done that!

They can be removed. Using alcohol and some elbow grease. Mine are gone and the car is much nicer w/o them. There was some discussion here a long while back re best removal techniques.

Get pieces of terry towel just big enough to cover stickers, get pieces of plastic bag to cover terry towels. Soak terry towels in alcohol, place on top of stickers, place plastic on top of towels to stop evaporation. Come back in 15 minutes or until stickers are completely "curdled," then just rub off gummy remains with terry towel. Done.

Those nasty stickers are not easily removed even with products like Goo Off. They have a way a leaving a imprint on the visor. Leather visors might be different but I wouldn't be so quick to do this without careful research. Apparently some have been successful but I know guys who replaced visors on their M5's after making the attempt.

I'd use the alcohol method described above. It's the least aggressive solvent.

If you go the non alcohol route don't confuse Goo Gone with Goof Off; two completely fifferent concoctions. Goof Off will murder plastic

Use the alcohol. As I posted earlier, with a little patience and work, the decals come off quite nicely with the alcohol. As suggested in another message, use a towel. Takes maybe 3-4 minutes per side.
I can't tell you how happy I am to not have those stickers screaming at me.

There's a guy on ebay that sells die cut black (or silver) film that covers the stickers. I bought some but haven't installed them yet, but it will completely cover the plastic flip up piece and sticker and looks pretty good.

Okay... here goes a stupid question. If I remove the stickers from the plastic vanity cover; is the Carrera name plate as illustrated above under each airbag sticker or is the Carrera sticker a separate item that goes on top of the ugly airbag sticker?

There is no carrera sticker under the airbag sticker. I'm sure that was applied after the removal of the airhead sticker.
