I think the key term is "all around." The new GT3 should prove to be much more compliant on the road than the 996 version, but I think the suspension will still be al-dente compared to the 997S.

Although I have the same car (997 S Cab) I am already thinking of getting the new GT3 when it arrives later this year. For me, the Cab is nice for the summer, but I prefer a more track-oriented car.

 

So...do you like the car?

Out of curiosity, are you following the recommended break-in procedures?

 

I always follow the recommended break in procedure...i know there have various threads on this subject...but i am still allowing my self a ceiling of 4200rpm...unless i am late getting off the gas!!!

 

Well said,,,,there is no doubt the gt3 997 will be the faster sports car but it will still be pretty hard core for everyday street use or cruising to the movies and dinner on a friday night...if i had unlimited money i would get a gt3 on the side!!! actually, i would get a carrera gt first, my all time dream car
