Default advice on cab top sealant

I noticed that in the 237th day of rain that we've had here in "sunny" so. cal. since I got my cab three weeks ago, that the rain isn't beading up on top anymore...Anyone have a good recommendation for a treatment/sealant?

Thanks

I recall from earlier posts that Ragg Topp products have a pretty good reputation. In fact, I was just thinking that I needed to order some for my wife's MB CLK cab top. Here is a link from Autogeeks.net on soft top care 101 & products. I am sure that you already know this, but just as a reminder, P-cars have fabric tops (as opposed to vinyl).

Raggtop is the "highly recommended" stuff. You can buy Porsche's version too. Either one. Be sure to do a nice job and mask off the rest of the car with plastic dropcloths.

As a past Boxster owner... RAGG TOPP is the best!!!! It works great and last a long long time... and remember, you don't need to wash the top every time you wash the car... Enjoy!!

I liked the Tequipment Cabriolet Top Conditioner when I had my Boxster. Did an excellent job of restoring the waterproof condition to the top and left it looking like when it was new. Can't speak for other products, but this one left no residue or sheen to the top whatsoever. Made it look and repel water like a new top.

Ben, where do you get this? I had looked at the Porsche Online Shop but could not find it. Thanks!

Your dealership's parts department carries it, if you can't find it elsewhere.

Carcareonline.com has the Porsche top conditioner. No affiliation...
