Aftermarket X51

Aftermarket X51
Traded in my Boxter S for a C4S Cab at the same dealer(same color too, took my wife 2 months to notice and she has been in the car). Anyway, my daily driver is a E55 so I'm a little spoiled with the power. I've head a few Porsches (944S Cab and 95 993 C4). I love my new car but wiosh it had a little more go. I don't want to go the aftermarket root since the car hasn't hit 1,000 miles yet. The X51 seems like it would be a no brainer if I can do it after the fact. Any ideas from the board?

It could be done with 996 so presumably it can with 997, but I think its going to be very, very pricey between parts and installation.

guess it's still not available?
are you saying the dealer price including install should be the same as the price as an option?

I know how you feel as I sold my '04 E55 (w/ Kleemann K2 package that was putting down almost 600 HP and 650 lb/ft torque) to buy the 997 S. I got the car last Thursday and have put 650 miles on the car. And no, I did not pick the car up out of state! I can't get out of the car. It will not out-drag an E55. There are few cars in the WORLD that will. I have been on roads in the 997 S doing 45 mph and giggling out loud because of how much fun it is to throw it around.
I miss the "point and shoot" aspect of the E55 while cruising on the highway, and of course what it can do when the light turns green But, from a "driving" perspective, there is very little else to compare.
I do miss (won't admit this to the wife) going out with the wife and kids in that car.
Funny thing, as much as I'm amazed at what the porsche can do, I haven't felt that "emotional connection" yet that I had with the E55. Kind of hard to explain. I'm sure it will come. Maybe because the E55 was the first "special" car I owned. Not that the several other E Class MB's were beaters!
You have the best of both worlds. I wish I could have kept the E55 and gotten the p-car. Maybe in a year or so, I'll get another one. That will be easier to convince the wife as she didn't want me to sell the E55! Then I'll have the best of both worlds.

About three months ago I paid a visit to service dept. at Auto Palace in Pittsburgh (authorized Porsche dealer) they gave a firm quote of
$21K for complete X51 parts and install (incl. Sport Exhaust) on an '06 C2S.
