Default Towing Eye ?

I`m going on a track day tomorrow and have recieved the disclaimer to sign including confirmation that a towing eye is fitted and I know it`s location.

I`m not at home at the moment and I have not yet received the manual from the dealer.

I am embarrassed to admit I don`t know the answer.

Is it in the toolkit in the front boot ?

Thanks

The towing eye screws into the receiver under the small circular cover on the front bumper. It is easily removed with a screwdriver or something a little less prone to scratching.

Actually, you push in by applying pressure on the lower side (6:00) o' clock. The (12:00) o' clock will pop right out. No need for tools... just your fingers!

I stand corrected! I was relying on my 993 as a reference. The 997 hasn't arrived yet.

Thank you,

Also, check out behind the license plate for a rear towing eye attachement point.
