Default Looking for a dealer...

who will be aggressive on pricing on a new 06 997 Cab S.

Any recommendations of a dealer who will "deal"? I'm will to travel or have it shipped.

Thanks for any suggestions

I received 5K off sticker, but you couldn't get further away from where you are! Manhattan Motorcars in NYC. Maybe you can see if the local dealers (or within a couple of state radius LOL) would "match" a 5K offer?

Those that are aggressive on pricing you'll find everywhere. ... It's those that are soft on pricing that you'd want to look for.

Call Thomas at Carrera motors. He offered me $5,500 off on a 2006 Cab with a sticker of 95K and he's up near you.

Good luck,

Steve

Talked to my dealer yesterday and they are very thin on "S" models on the ground. Most are customer orders that have already recieved build slots and are in-bound, so no dealing on an S. However...they have C2 Cabs on the ground and I know would be willing to negotiate on those. Depends what's more important to you - exact spec or biggest discount.

I just purchased an 05 C2, with 4K miles, nicely equipped for $66K from Tracy Rabey at Boardwalk Porsche in Plano, Tx. He had just gotten this on a trade and it had not yet been advertized. He offered me $5K off a new C4 Cab, MSRP $93K. It was a great deal but I decided I should not spend that much.
I also felt it would be worth it to pay a little more and get in locally here is Seattle because of the relationship with sales person. Barrier in Seattle will give you free cleaning for life when you buy from them.

Dealers in the SE are usually hot to deal...try Gunter at Jim Ellis in Atlanta. Also have heard good things about Stoddard in OH. Lastly, Champion in FL is always aggressive on pricing (although some say not a very good buying experience)

Try Boardwalk Porsche in Plano Texas. Great service and attention and supper price. I bought mine there after looking all over. On top of great prices they will prepare the car and treat you like a king.

I live in LA, all the local dealers were less than impressive. I searched dealer inventory online, found a car to my spec and called. I bought my 2006 S coupe from Rodney Bell at Motor Werks in Barrington, IL (near Chicago). Easy to deal with, got a discount and he shipped me the car, I hadit in about a week.

Consider Jackson, MS as well.
