seats in my cab ar almost worthless...i had my younger brother's girlfriend back there on a short trip - she had to sit sideways and was very uncomfortable - shes tiny!
they are essentially worthless...maybe they are ok for 5yr olds

Well if you have young children (below the age of 12), the back seats are not worthless. The expressions of joy they have when they are driven around is priceless. Heck they are even willing to sit with legs criss cross for being able to sit in the car. I do not yet feel comfortable allowing them to sit in the front even with the airbag deactivated. The other day I saw a mom and three kids in a 911 coupe and they all seemed 'happy'.

I recently drove my S and a cayman S on mountain roads - we kept switching back and forth. Conclusion: as said above , they are entirely different cars. The cayman was easier to drive, feels much lighter than the 180 pound difference, but the 997 feels more substantial, and the rear does seem to dig in more coming out of corners hard.I had some problems with the shifting on the cayman too, but I might just not been used to it (otherwise, you can drive the darn thing fast from the get go) I was a bit curious if I would regret having spent the extra money on the 997 ( the cayman wasn't even officially announced when I bought it) but I am very confident that the cayman does not replace the 997. Awesome car though

Does anyone know the source of the quote?

[QUOTE=BiggerTwin]I find a big gold Rolex easier to take into a bar than a Porsche
if you want some REAL chic, try a 1950 46mm panerai.

Incidentally no one, except a connoisseur, would be impressed by this watch or have any idea as to its value. Therein lies part of its attraction to me.

however on a spreadsheet, a Ford mustang is a much better deal...

And gee, look at me, I don't even have a watch - i just use my iPod
