how often are you using the sport chrono??

Yes Doc - if you have factory PSE it stays on if you switch off the PASM button. The stopwatch function is just a stopwatch and doesn't affect anything else. Think i'm right in saying that even with PASM in standard setting the suspension settings are actually altered depending on the mode of driving - eg if you're driving hard the susepnsion settings will automatically be stiffened but not to the extent ofthe full "sport" level.

I don't ordinarily use Sport Mode when I drive to the office at 7am, except when I take the scenic route through the rural area of Southwest Reno, and on those occasions I cannot resist pushing the button to hear the glorious PSE and to tighten up the suspension for the winding road around Windy Hill. But when I leave in the afternoon, I almost always press the button as soon as I am out of the hearing range of my office.

Sport Mode - almost always.
PASM set to "normal" for 99% of street driving. "Sport" with 19" wheels is very harsh on most Canadian roads.
Stopwatch - played with the interface as a test, but have not used it in any practical manner.

Sport mode: almost always on b/c I have PSE
PASM:Normal for street, unless it is a nice stretch of road that I want to drive hard. Sport at the track
Stopwatch: Almost never on the street, ocassionally on a stretch or road when it's empty

On my "wart-equipped" '06 C4S, you need to activate Sport mode to "turn on" the PSE (option XLF) and the remapped eGas throttle profile. My PSE was factory installed also (and those of you without a factory installed PSE might not follow this sequence).
You can switch back to "soft" PASM mode by hitting the switch with a pic of a damper on it.
So for me, it's generally:
Sit down, buckle up, start engine, hit Sport, hit damper switch - and go!
Good luck,
