Default Pics of new 997TT - GT3 from Geneva show

Gang,

Here are the pics from the Porsche booth at the 2006 Geneva Motor show. Which opens to the public tomorrow. This is the offical launch for the new 997TT and the 997GT3. I think both cars look amazing

Still not used to that rear wing as part of the "Aero Package" on the Gt3's and 911's - but for the Turbo that is in the "Fall in Love Sexy!" catagory

Thanks MHC2S. Always good to get another look at these machines. Afraid I must disagree with your opinion of the turbo's looks. But the GT3 looks wicked, in my opinion

love the gt3 except the wing looks funky...the turbo has a clean conservative look, but not wild, that is until you step on the gas!!!! then watch out!!!i would gladly drive or own either car...they both kick serious butt

Thanks for sharing. Like the GT3 with a different wing indeed.

You guys are funny. The only thing I can say is I don't really care for the rear wing on the GT3. Other than that it's a great looking car. I love the Turbo and want one. Maybe I'll drive one in my dream tonight

not sure i like the turbo - though i would love to have one..the side air scoops looks f*cked up - i like them the old way..car looks too busy - like porsche just adding anything to make it look different - back end looks funny too

Thanks for sharing the photos MH. Love the look of the GT3 but not the turbo. Maybe the GT3 wing would look better if it was toned down by being painted black on the sides and top or maybe carbon fiber? (if thats not what its already made of)....Turbo's air intakes and lower rear bumper look like they belong on a street-modded out Honda Accord. Doesn't flow visually for me; also not a big fan of those wheels either. GT3 is a waaaaaay cleaner looking car with better looking wheels. I'd rather save the extra $20-30K difference in price and have a GT3 any ol' day of the week. Both are super nice but the GT3 definately gets the nod in my book.

I love the wheels and rear spoiler on the TT.

This will be my next car.

I can see what you mean, the side air intakes on the Turbo do look like an afterthought by Porsche. I still love both cars and would own either one with a smile

Hmmm...call me crazy, but I like the TT and GT2 in the 996 version much better. I'm also not liking the "gills" or "cheeks" of the front of the new TT for the fog lights which are not shown in the pics that are posted...

I'd love to have either car, but my styling preference goes to the GT3. The only dislike is the wing design (how about swapping for the old GT2 wing?).
