Default Chipped Paint

I was out for a drive on Monday, and somehow got a serious paint chip on the hood of the car. It is down to the metal. 2 small spots. Any ideas on how to remedy this? I know they make touch up paint, but I have rarely seen that look like a decent solution. Any ideas?

Your best friend in that situation is the small container of touchup paint and a wooden matchstick. Shave it to a fine tip and slowly build it up one layer at a time. Never put off doing these repairs. You should be prepared to do this after every washing.

Respray or touch up. Some touch up solutions are better than others. I just do it myself with a toothpick dabbed in some touch up paint.
