Not really 997 related, but scrape related. I go through about 2 AIR splitters per year on my 951. For the first year or so of driving with one I was really careful and cringed everytime it hit. Now I'm not saying I'm not careful going in and out of steep pavement, but I've been fairly desensitized to it now. Sadly I accept the fact that I'm going to spend around $500 on bodywork per year to keep the car in "decent" condition. Although it really needs a full repaint right now. Just for reference, as I do not know the ride height on the 997's, here's mine (dirty as hell and on a slanted piece of pavement):



It's right about 3.5" inches.
