Default Can someone verify this?

According to my local Porsche dealer, you can't change the gauge color on a 997 without buying all new instruments? Can this be true?

They want $2400 for the instrument cluster and $690 for the Sports Chrono in black.

Wow. If that's the case,--I would IMMEDIATELY go to Hollywood Speedometer for a color change. They can do it for next to nothing compared to that.

I don't know about 997's but I recall that on 996's you could change the faces (and I've seen the faces sold separately). And its called North Hollywood Speedometer (http://www.nhspeedometer.com/) and they should know the answer.
