Finally, after all the hard decisions and then the waiting...I picked up my 997 C2S yesterday...woohhhaaa!!!!...just in time to put some miles on before the NE storm hit. Today she has been in the garage whilst we got dumped with 18" of snow...but at leat that gave me time to put the clear side markers on and work my way through the manual and PCM manual...yawn...not quite the same as putting some miles on!!
Spec: 997C2S, Arcitc, Full Black Leather, PSE (this has to be THE best option on the list), Power Seats, Nav, Bose, CD, TPMS (love it), Heated seats, Dimming Mirrors, Mats, colored wheel caps. Lobster forks for the summer and 19" classics for the winter ($3k off ebay, arriving this week, brand new factory set incl summer tires that will get swapped out for winter tires).
Happy has to the the understatement of the year !!!
you read the manual?
haha new car excitement?
I'd probably figure out PCM the hard way on my own... haha
anyways, she's a beaut, go play in the snow a little ;-) - but be safe

Yes, did that with my 350Z. And then I had a flat tire in Dallas on a Sunday night on my way to the airport and noticed for the first time that I had never received the keys for the rim locks. Just never thought about it (it was my first car that had those). Had to leave the car behind to get to the airport. When I got back, it was stolen (later recovered). So much for the hard way.

Today I could drive my car without worrying about snow(68 degrees). The only problem is that I don't have a 997 yet. Congrats to you. I hope the snow melts soon.
