New C2 just before I drove it our of the showroom. There's now 149 miles on the clock and I am keeping below 4500 rpm, as advised.

Rave, welcome.
Looks like you're in the UK, or somewhere in Europe where they drive on the wrong side of the road. And those look like 18" wheels on your 997S. Is your car GT Silver or Artic Silver? And is your interior Stone Grey or Black? .. We crave details, Rave.

More details:
It's a UK car
Seal grey C2 - not an S. I had an S on order but changed my mind because of speed bumps (which are procreating like rabbits on my local roads) and slightly firmer ride of the S. I suppose I should have asked for 18 inch alloys on an S - they are so much easier to clean and have much simpler lines. I did specify red brake calipers. I'm a bit of a fraud in that respect.
I have always specified de-badging of cars. I don't like dirt under the letters.
Got the Bose, sat-nav and telephone package. It plays MP3 files but not i-tunes files. Porsche, please take note: this is a major oversight but I do understand why manufacturers do not wish to pay licence fees or contaminate on-board software with Apple stuff. There are some new developments on the sat-nav for the UK market, which I will try out in the next week or so. The radio is very sensitive - capable of picking stations many miles away. I have one of those FM i-pod transmitters (illegal in the UK) which was never any good with my former BMW but works very well in the 997.
Leather comes standard over here but I've specified leather dashboard (sexy stitching on top of dash and eliminates plasticky looking cupholder strip on dash). Leather rear console too.
Multi-function wheel. Parking distance control. Bi-xenon lights. Stainless steel kick plates. Colour wheel badges - well you have to don't you? And, finally, the rear wiper and some fancy floor mats.
Only downside is the key. It looks cheap, it feels cheap and must be cheap. Come on Porsche, you can do better than that.
Overall: the car is magnificent!
