Default Cab hard top frame

Does anyone please know if there is a wall-mounted frame to hang the 997 optional hard top, as there was for the 996 and Boxster. If so, do you know the part number? I'm not sure if Porsche has made one for the 997. They have got a floor-trolley mount which will also store wheels but I don't have space for that and my baby in the garage! My OPC can't find any information on a frame. Would the 997 hard top fit onto a 996 frame?

Thanks

The 997 hardtop is identical to the 996 hardtop, so the wall-mounted frame should work.

Speed, you are partially right and partially wrong.

If you own the hardtop holder for the 996 already, you need an adaptor to use the holder with the 997 hardtop. Order part number 997 044 000 02 from your dealer. If you don't own the holder, you can buy the 996 holder, with the adaptor included, by ordering part number 000 044 000 76 from your dealer. There is a TSB on this very issue. I just read it by accident as I was looking around on renntech.org at the TSBs.

Yes, I know you love me for this SPOT-ON information.

I could be wrong... no offense taken. I am just reporting what I stumbled across.

And, Speed is technically right also. Its just than you need an adaptor.
