How do you Germans out there pronounce it?
it's interesting because neither of those are technically correct. as a German i get to maintain this elitist view of the rest of the world as I look down at my nose at people who mispronounce it

it's closer to Por Shuh but it's not. People who try and pronounce it properly often end up saying "Porscha" and its not that, it's more of a Por schUH, it's really hard to type and describe but its more of an "uhe" than an "ah".

Be careful, the Dutch can understand what you Germans are talking about.

When living in the US, my Dutch son was always laughing when I told him that there was a city called Hamburg. Now he likes the football of HSV.

I say porch. "Sir, what do you want to use this home equity loan for?" "Home improvement, I need a new porch for my house."

Depends on the context which im speaking. Most of time time i say porsch since its quicker to say and flows better imo. Not to mention it sounds more manly without the "uh" sound

I tend to use the more germanic pronunciation at home, talking to enthusiasts, but if you say it to Joe Average they think you are being arrogant, so I just use the one syllable.
I also have German audio video equip Loewe (loo vuh) and of course the miele's around the house (me luh), and thank god my camera, yet another German item, Leica has the damn "a" at the end....
