It is worse in the Northwest. Demand FAR exceeds supply, so MSRP is as good as it gets. What's worse, is that you pretty much get treated like crap no matter where you go because the dealerships know that they can sell your car to the next person in line the same day. I'd kill for $500 off!

Just get the car from a low demand area and spend the $800 to have it shipped. People have been doing this on the E60 M5 in California. A simple solution if it can save you $7K.
