Default Stereo Settings

Just traded in my 06 Boxter S (Seal Grey/Black) for a C4S Cab (Seal Grey/Black). The car was fun to drive, but no 911. My last Porsche was a 993 911 C4. Anyway, the car came with the Bose Surround and a 6 inch thick manual on the stereo, nav, etc. I figured their was an audiophile out there who has tweaked the radio and CD levels to perfection.Any suggestions?

My own suggestions were gleaned from some pretty savvy guys here...seems the sound is better in stereo (non-surround), with about -1 on the bass, faded to the rear about two "bars" and treble boosted to your liking. Personally, I am not all that fond of the Bose sound quality. But, OTOH, the car sounds so sweet, I'm not listening much

Surround on for most CD's, surround off for radio.
Audiopilot--to me the effect seemed negligible, bose gimmick, I left it off.
