Default WOW - First Afternoon with C2S

Well my C2S is all mine now (except for the NAV which still needs installed) and i've just spend the most glorious time putting 150 miles on it this afternoon. I am doing a "hybrid" break in period so I have experienced it's glorious high rpm growl and 120 mph (it's gonna be hard not doing that everyday). I don't even know where to start with what an awesome machine it is.

The wife and I are doing several day trips this week and will try to post pictures, specs, etc. from the weekend as soon as I can. Unfortunately, our weather sucks up here now - rain, rain, rain - so the car is already filthy and I want it clean for the picutres. Looks like that will happen Sunday.

I've got to go pinch myself to make sure it wasn't all a dream. Even the wife was amazed at what a beast it is. Can't believe I waited so long before getting this car.

Super Congratulations then! ...

So glad the long wait is over and that you are head over heels with the car. ... The rain will soon stop and it will be spring soon so you can wait til then to take better pics. But in the meantime one or two will suffice!

I know how you must feel. I remember the feeling I had when I drove my car home for the first time. The amazing thing is I still feel like I just picked it up this weekend. The novelty still hasn't worn off since Memorial Day Weekend last year when I brought it home for the first time. Good luck and enjoy your new driving machine. Hope spring comes early in the North East.

I bought mine on launch day 8/28/04 - my 4th 911 - and I can tell you 17 months later I'm still grinning every time I drive her!

Enjoy!

Just got back from the airport - drove mine tonight to go get my soon in Annapolis and it was SUCH a nice drive - some tunes and sport exhaust selected - no one on route 32 or 108 so I was able to "get into her a little" while keeping an eye out for "Bambi's".

Great winter so far!
