Default The Wait is Almost Over!!!!

My dealer just called and my 997S has arrived!!!!

Can't wait till January 28th to pick it up.
Delay because I bought out of state and will be at Barrett Jackson this weekend.

I will be sure to post pics when I get it back to Nashville.

Doug

Barrett Jackson is 3 miles from where I live, lol. I too am going to pick up my car on January 28th (am I correct in stating that you will be in Jackson, MS as well?). If so, maybe we can meet there before I drive back to Phoenix as likely our paths will cross.....

Man this next week is gonna kill me, knowing that the car is there at the dealer ready to be sat in/driven etc. but having to wait 8 more days.

How long did it takes your cars to get to dealer after Vessel landed?

Thanks.

1/13 vessl in port...next port landing for the boat was 1/16. Yesterday the pcna inventory wiz declared my car as PDI morroney. It's most likely in transit or at the dealer now. PCNA sucks regarding their post sale information. Buy gum at walmart (if one must) and the company instantly has the ability to reflect that purchase. Porsche sells 100K+ cars but chooses to not consider post transaction info to the consumer a priority. Rectocranial inversion indeed.

Because of all the activity with that auction, there are FEW if any transports around right now. Many cars are delayed delivery. Sucks. I have a car inbound from FL, should take one day, taking 5 instead.

Onvessel was December 15, and it arrived at the dealer Jan 18, 2006. I assume it landed at the Brunswick, GA port at least 10-12 days prior to making it to the dealer.

Toomey, FWIW, best I can determine my car was in port on 12/24, arrived at the dealer last Sat 1/14, and I picked it up this past Mon. Throw out the holidays and that's still about 2 weeks for it to clear customs etc?

I still can't believe I really have the car!
