I guess it would explain the semblance of civility found here that cycle man suspected as being attributable to an older and thus more mellow crowd. Guess I should start being a little more respectful of my elders and not being such a smart *** all the time. ... Uh oh, all of a sudden I feel the need to get more gentle and more laid back, if that's even possible.

I'm sure that there's a parody of SNLs Grumpy Old Man (with apologies to Dana Carvey) in here somewhere:

"......and when we were young we didn't put plastic bras on our cars. The hoods were all dented and scratched.......and we liked it!"

Just an off topic question? How do I put a picture on the left side under my user name?

How do I quote other message in my reply?

At the top of the page, clock on User CP (in the gray bar). Then under Options, click on Edit Avatar. You can use any one of the 176 Standard Avatars shown or you can choose to use a Custom Avatar. In order to use a Custom Avatar, scroll down below the Standard Avatars and click on the Use Custom Avatar “radio” button. Now click on the Browse button and find the pic on your PC and upload it to the site. The Custom Avatar pic size is listed at the bottom of the box. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 250 by 300 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

To include the other message, click on the double quotation marks at the bottom right hand side of the post you want to quote.

Hope this helps!

I was born 5-21-62. So do the math (5x21) - 62 = 43 my age.

Now THAT was clever!

You actually made me pop up my calculator here to do the math, as I'm sure everyone reading your post right now is doing, until they realize that I and others have confirmed it!
