They are different - PSE has two outlet pipes on each side; the tips are different and have two different sizes. (I don't have pics.)

How do you like PSE?

When I first got in the car I did not notice a huge difference. Now after driving it a few times there is a noticeable difference. My 11 year son loves it.I thought I read somewhere that it gets louder after a few hundred miles or is that bull?Anyway Happy I did it!

Those who have the PSE say it does take some time to "burn out" the PSE and report that, in a short amount of time, they will get louder.

BTW - below are a couple of pics with 997 PSE factory tips.

Do you think it was worth the money.....I'm thinking of getting PSE....did you install the electronics part as well (sport exhaust engaged via the center console sport button), or is it set as permanently on. Do you think it retains the sound of a Porsche or more of an american muscle car.....When it's not switched on does it sound the same as a non PSE 997.....Sorry for all the questions

Many Thanks

It is worth the money.Mine is attached to sport chrono so I can turn it off if need be.There is a definite sound difference.Do it if its in the budget.
