Stunning! All the best with it.
And when you're ready for some pure orange interior bits, just let me know, bro.

Guys,
Thanks for all the kind comments! Car has certainly been getting a REALLY good reaction in the dealers! It's funny that if you look out in the back lot the dealer he has around 50 assorted Carreras, Boxsters, Caymans etc - ALL either black, shades of grey, or silver - almost feels like you are looking at a Black and White picture! At least mine is a "LOVE IT" or "HATE IT" colour! I'd rather get that reaction from somebody (or any reaction for that matter) , rather than a grunt of ambivalence to "yet another silver Porsche" !!
Car still looks kind of strange in the pictures, almost metallic (which it's not), due to the artifical overhead lights and the flash - looks much better in real life !
Porsche only paint the wheel faces for some reason and not the inner rim????
Suspension looks a little raised because the suspension transit chocks were just taken out beforehand - needs a drive of a few miles to settle down!
lawjdc: Sorry don't know the paint code - just ask for "paint to sample" and "pure orange" (it's nw a well know colour in Weissach) and you will get this !
Anyway here are a few more pics from yesterday:

Thanks for sharing. Very cool and very unique. I agree with you--these are sports cars, not luxury cars, and there's nothing wrong with a little flash to break up the tedium of those of us in monochromatic colors.
