hahahaha a car company with NO warranty on their vehicles?
what a crock - if your dealer honestly told you that, or if you just mistyped it....
anyways, no extended warranty from porsche.

I missed buying a used 997 by about an hour. I scheduled a test drive on the car and found out when I got to Valley Motors that another guy put a $1K deposit on the car about an hour earlier. Anyway this guy did the same thing that I was going to do which was to request that the car be certified. So now the owner of this car has an '05 997 which has warranty coverage until 2011. BTW if that guy is a reader of this forum, let me extend my congratulations to you. You got a great car at a great price.

Unfortunately these are expensive toys that can have expensive repair bills.
I suppose the reason that Porsche allows some of these things to recur is the same reason as to why dogs lick their *****.
