Dear Waiters & Prospectors:
Dear Waiters & Prospectors:
For those of you who have owned Porsches before, you can stop reading this post right now. Why? Because you will understand what it is here that I am trying to express.
When I first enlisted in Rennlist I was a Prospector hungry for work. So, I did what many do and became a Waiter. I did not undertake my career as a Waiter without significant research into the field. Indeed I polled 997 owners and Cayenne TT owners and used their career counseling to find the right Waiter position to suit my needs. Thus I became a Waiter for the C4S.
I was a Waiter for quite a long time and many of you will likely remember that I later became the Head Waiter on Rennlist owing to my hard work and more importantly to the number of months logged in the field. I saw so many fellow Waiters be promoted to Owners in my time while I continued to struggle. I even saw some C4S Prospectors get fast-tracked directly to Owners when the launch vehicles came out. Even my status as Head Waiter could not pacify me.
Then, before I knew what hit me I got the call,...I became an Owner.
I just want to tell all of you Waiters how sweet it is now!!!!!!!! I'm up to 450 miles and my ****-eating grin has persisted,...it is likely perma-grin at this point. You will all absolutely love your p-cars - it has far exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to explore the higher rev range after break-in.
So, enjoy your time as a Waiter. If you're a Prospector go out and get yourself some work as a Waiter. Positions are easy to find and there are tons of people on the forum who can 'steer' you in the right direction.

Dude, you are killing me! Everytime I finish reading posts on RennList I tell myself I should stop torturing myself and just wait for my car with as little info as possible. That makes the wait go by much faster, but alas I come back for more punishment.
Does that mean I am now promoted to the head waiter position. My order has been in since the end of June and still no car. It is a position I did not want to advance to, but hopefully it will be a short lived job. Car is built but have been unable to get an On Vessel update.

I hope you waiter dudes have been collecting and saving every frickin' 997/S picture you can find on the net. Then you can get into bed, put your laptop on your chest and fall asleep looking at Porsche pictures. BTW, a peripheral track ball works best.

Seriously, is the time line not realistic? We reconfigured a confirmed dealer slot for a March build with an April delivery.

While head waiter is a prestigious position I am quite sure, I hope to never earn the HW title.

The shipping is a bottle neck though, yours could just miss the boat and wait in a lot while other orders accumulate for the next batch to go on the next ship.
