Default Top gear 'coxster' video link

Hi Folks,

My friend sent me this link and I think you folks will enjoy it as well. This has to be the largest SWF I have even seen

http://www.animdb.net/Top.Gear.Coxster.swf

I love those top gear dudes.

Enjoy,
Greg

Thumbs down

Jeremy only likes the CGT, other than that, Porsches have no 'soul' like British and Italian cars do.

Meh.

I think their little one lap time chart is irrelevant. A Cayman S scoring below a heavy M5 sedan? Come on. I guess they do it for dramatic reasons, but I'd put as much faith in that chart as I would a screen door on a submarine.

He actually really liked the 997S.

Are you referring to the episode where he got in the 996 at first and then the 997? Same one where he pulled the shifter **** off? I love how they waited for Stig to race the baby Aston until the track was dry, but raced the 997 on a very wet track. Also how he picked the 911 last over the baby Aston and M6, despite the 911 outperforming them both by +6.0 seconds?

Don't mistake my criticisms, I'm not that sensitive. I love the show because it's not so incredibly dry like MotorWeek. (Motorweek is like watching someone read a consumer reports article to you.) Top Gear has an entertaining and creative format. And while Jeremy is extremely inconsistent with his criterion and obviously doesn't like Porsche ("***** buy Porsches"), who cares. It's their show and they can do what they want.

Now wait a minute. Jeremy loved the 997S (but was unimpressed by the 997 non-S) and he was over ruled in the episode pitting the baby Aston and M6 against the 997S. In both cases, the bottom line was that the 997S was a winner.

Fail to see why I should care what Jeremy (or anyone else for that matter) thinks of the 911.
