Fair question.

Well, you probably missed my posts where I explained that my newly purchased home is undergoing major remodeling. The workers use the garage as their workshop where they store materials then cut it. I suppose I could have paid to garage my 911 elsewhere, but I really wouldn't be comfortable with that. So it sits on the opposite side of the garage, covered, with a battery maintainer plugged in, barricaded by boxes to keep the workers from accidentally hitting it.

I bought it purely as a pleasure car for me - a weekend car. Not a daily driver.

Now if only those damn contractors can hurry up and get the hell out of here.

With all due respect......Notre Dame is OVER-RATED, plays a pouser schedule to include Army, Air Force & Navy. Gotta have the easy wins to get to a bowl somehow....That's why they refuse to join a confernece......They turned down a invite to join the Big Ten....Unlike Penn State who plays with the big boys EVERY week....Running scared.....playing a real game each Saturday.... they would not have the easy wins!!!

Ben,

I hear you this is how my car has looked for almost a month now. I have been working on a friends 930 Turbo the past few weekends and waiting for new parts in between. I also use my 997 as a weekend toy so if my weekends get tied up as they have, the car just sites. I feel your pain

Fly me out to NJ, and I'll make sure the seals are lubed regularly

If a 996 has a 997s engine in it, is it a 996 or a 997s or a 9967s or a ....... ( Well right now it has NO engine in it, so I guess it's a 99).

Okay, so my boys were a little sloppy, turning the ball over twice, but still, it was no contest.
