Default Times Between COMPLETION & ONVESL

Hi All...
What was the length of time between your known 911 completion of production date and ONVESL?
My car was completed on 10/22 and is still waiting for a boat !!!! At this rate they'll need to replace the battery and all the hoses.

More precisely - your car is waiting for enough cars to fill up a ship. Don't forget Porsche doesn't export enough vehicles to fill a boat on its own. Your baby will cruise the Atlantic with a load of new BMWs and probably more than a few Volvos, too.

If your car rolled off the line the day AFTER a ship departed, your wait for the next vessel could be a few weeks. Patience, Grasshopper.

This is the time line for my '06 997 S. Eleven weeks from order to delivery was quite a bit faster for me this time. My December build '02 996 C2 got caught up in the Christmas plant shutdown and didn't get shipped until Jan 2. It was finally delivered on Jan 28.

10-19 - Completed production
10-26 - Shipped to Baltimore
11-03 - Arrived Baltimore
11-09 - Arrived at dealer
11-15 - Delivered

Hey Dave, for my car which was built this past Spring, it took about two weeks to reach OVENSL after completion. Hope this eases the wait.

I just got news from my dealer that expected completion date will be Decemeber 5, 2005. Whats the chances of it coming in between Christmas and new years(to Jackson, MS, which I guess will be an east coast dock). Dealer said to expect early January, but I am hopeful that it wil come earlier. I was planning on driving back to Arizona so the holidays would be a good time. (unless they (boats) don't work during the holidays?)

Mine was completed on 10/17, on vessel 10/26, arrived at port in GA on 11/07 or 08, arrived at dealer on 11/11, and I had it on 11/12.
I hope yours gets to you soon!
