I thought the wesite (Porsche) talked about the handling improvements of it. Besdies, do you really think that Porsche would slap on a bling aerokit without it having any performance benefit?

Courtesy of MJones:
The real deal is the Factory Aerokit:
Aerokit Cup Aerodynamic Values:
front end lift force 0.00
rear end lift force -0.02
Notes:Note the real downforce on the rear axle. Former Aerokits only reduced the upforces.
Negative values represent downforce.
Stock Carrera Values:
front end lift force 0.05
rear end lift force 0.02

It's basically for show in the Carrera and S. Anybody legitimately concerned with the handling traits at speeds high enough to be affected by aerodynamics is likely going to be buying a GT3.
