I'm sure glad that these guys aren't in the US near me.

Cool! What's the deal with the aero kit? That's not the kit I've seen pictures of, I don't think. Different wing for sure, and the rockers and front lip look different too. Right? Or am I smoking drugs?

This car was specifically manufactured by Porsche to police all 997s on the road that did not install clear side markers. Watch your back!!!

I refuse to switch the side markers on any of my P-Car's... Someone's gotta stick out from the crowd...

Well, the Germans do know how to fight fire with fire. ... I wonder how many of these they can buy on their police budget. Wonder if the government helps subsidize their purchase with Porsche contributing as well.

There is an actual 'real' story on this car over on Renntech. Long story short, it was a public relations campaign on how to perform safe mods instead of unsafe mods that can cause fatal traffic accidents at high speeds on the overseas highways. So, the cops mod the car to show safe mods and there was this big show to show it off and educate everyone with posterboards and flyers, etc.

Been to Germany many, many times-The Polizei run 911's on the Autobahn for patrol-seen them-mostly near large cities such as Frankfurt, Koln, Munich etc...they're for real-however never saw one with a Tech Art kit(understand this was a promo)! The paint scheme is usually white with green doors/hoods although I've seen different variations of same color paint-also the blue lights etc....

That's right. The police and Techart working together to make the world a safer place. Here's a link to Techart's website which gives the details on the safe modification program:
