Got hit in the back of the right rear wheel. I'm supposed to get it back tommorrow. He had to cut the right quarter panel off.

Default I didn't like the Adaptives

I had the adaptive SS in my old 997, but I did not like them much. I have the regular seats with full leather and power now, which I love.

Here are the cons of the adaptives, IMO:
  • They have a cheap looking plastic backing, which also reduces space in the back seat (kind of important for me since my kid rides there sometimes)
  • The side bolsters have small air bladders, and adjust only a little - as a result they always felt a little too enclosing and hot for me. They made the interior feel smaller.
  • The standard seats are great to slip in and out of easily, and they are just as comfortable. They have adequate support for street driving.
  • Neither seat is good for track. The head rest is high and tilts forward a little, which interferes with a helmet. A racing seat would be much better.
